If you didn't know,  I recently collaborated with Dagne Dover. A handbag company that focuses on sophisticated &  organized handbags for the modern woman. Their bags are the most functional bags I've owned. In fact, I can't say enough of how functional they are on he inside, while still looking beautiful on the outside. I own their black 15 inch tote and if you're a business owner like myself, this bag is great! This design is very well thought out and even allows a protective slot for my laptop! With that said... when they approached me about a collaboration - I was on-board! 

We collaborated on around 45 items (card cases + handbags) which I hand-painted myself with my signature style. There are limited quantities available & they're almost all sold out. You can view the entire collection here.  It includes brushstrokes, lipstick kisses & flamingos!

Dark matter might connect galaxies through wormholes

Tl;dr: A new paper shows that one of the most popular types of dark matter � the axion � could make wormholes possible if strong electromagnetic fields, like those found around supermassive black holes, are present. Unclear remains how such wormholes would be formed and whether they would be stable.

එතකොට මොනාද මේ E අංක (E number) නැතහොත් INS (International Numbering System) අංක කියන්නෙ? සුරක්ෂිතතා පරීක්ෂණයකට භාජනය වුනු යුරෝපා එකමුතුව (European Union-EU) විසින් අනුමත කරන ලද අහාර ආකලන වලට ලබා දී ඇති නිර්දේශ අංක තමා මේ E අංක කියන්නෙ. ඔයාල ගන්න කෘතීම අහාර ඇසුරුම් කරල තියෙන පැකට්ටුවේ ඇති “Ingredients” කියල කොටසක්. එතන දීල ඇති ඔය කියන E අංක. ඔය තිබෙන E අංකය එකට අදාල වෙනස් නොවන අංකයක්. එකම රසායන ද්‍රවය මොන අහාර වර්ගයට දැම්මත් එහි E අංකය වෙනස් වෙන් නෑ. එය එයටම අනන්‍ය වූ අංකයක් වනව. එමඟින් අපට හැකියාව පවතිනව කුමන අහාර අකලනයක් ආහාරයට යොදා ඇතිබවට හදුනා ගැනීමට.

සුලබ අහාර ආකලන  (Common Food Additives)

•          අහාර වර්ණක-  E100-E199 සිමාව තුල ඇති E අංක වලින් අදහස් වන්නෙ එය වර්ණකයක් බවයි. අහාර වර්ණක බොහෝ වෙලාවට යොදා ගනු ලබන්නෙ ආහාරයට ඇති ආකර්ෂණය වැඩි කර ගැනීම සඳහායි. මේවා ස්වභාවික වන්නත් පුළුවන් කෘතීම වන්නත් පුළුවන්.
•          අහාර පරිරක්ෂක- E 200-E299 සිමාව තුල ඇති E අංක වලින් අදහස් වන්නෙ එය පරිරක්ෂකයක් බවයි.  අහාර පරිරක්ෂක යොදා ගන්නේ අහාර කලතබා ගැනීම සඳහායි.
•          ප්‍රතිඔක්සිකාරක- E300-E399 සිමාව තුල ඇති E අංක වලින් අදහස් වන්නෙ එය ප්‍රතිඔක්සිකරකයක් බවයි. ඔක්සිකාරක ප්‍රතික්‍රියා මඟින් සිදුවන ආහාරයේ වර්ණ නැතිවීම් වැනි දේ වලින් සිදුවන ආහාරය පිරිහීම නැතහොත් එහි තත්වය බාල වීම වැලක්වීම සදහා ප්‍රතිඔක්සිකරක යොදා ගනී.
•          තෛලෝදිකාරක, ස්ථායිකාරක, ගනකාරක- E400-E499 අතර E අංකයක් නම් එය මේවාට අයිති සංයෝගයකි. මෙවැනි දෑ ආහාරයට එකතු කරන්නේ ආහාරයේ බඳක් (body) සහ වයනයක් (texture) වෙන් වෙන්ව ඇතිවීම වැලක් වීම සඳහායි.
•          රසකාරක- E600-E699 අතර E අංකයක් නම් එය කෘතීම රසකාරකයකි. මේව යොදාගන්නෙ මොකටද කියල කියන්න ඕනේ නෑ නෙ. MSG නැතහොත් අජිනමොටෝ වල E අංකය තම E621. බලන්නකො ඔබ ගන්න අහාර කීයක මේ අංකෙ තියෙනවද කියල.
•          පැණිරසකාරක-  E900-E999 අතර E අංකයක් නම් එය sweetener නැතහොත් පැණිරස කාරකයක් වනව. දියවැඩියාව තිබෙන පුද්ගලයෙක් නම් සැලකිලිමත් වෙන්න මෙම ද්‍රවය ඔබ ගන්නා ආහාරයේ අඩංගු දැයි කියා.සැකරින්-E954

යුරෝපා එකම්තුවේ නීති පද්ධතියට අනුව අහාර ලේබලයේ ආහාරයට යොදන ද්‍රවය පැහැදිලි ලෙස සදහන් කොට තැබිය යුතුයි. අහාර අකලනත් සමඟ. මෙම ලේබල් තිබෙනනේ  අහාර පරිබෝජනය කරන අය වෙනුවෙනුයි. මොනවද අඩංගු වෙන්නෙ අපි ගන්න අහාර වල කියා දැන ගැනීමට. ඉතින් සොයාබලන්න ඔබ මොනවද මේ දේහයට අරගන්නෙ කියල. මා අද මේ ඔබට හැදින්වුවෙ කෙසේද මේවා හදුනාගන්නේ ඒවා හදුනාගන්න ඕනේ ඇයි කියන දේ පිළිබඳවයි. ඉතින් මින් පසු ආහාරයක් ගන්නකොට සැලිකිල්මත් වන්න නැත්තම් ලෙඩ දොර ළඟටම එනකන් ඉන්න එපා. සමහර වෙලාවට මෙම E  අංක INS අංක ලෙසත් දක්වනව. කිසිදු වෙනසක් වෙන්නෙ නැ එහෙම උනාට.

කුඩා දරුවන්ට ලබා දීමේදී සැලකිලිමත් වියයුතු E අංක පිළිබඳව මා ඔබට තවත් ලිපියකින් ගෙන එන්නම්. එතෙක් රැඳී සිටින්න.
